Good food at decent prices. Staff tend to be forgetful so just remind them if your order is missing.

Nestled amidst the culinary landscape, Little Store on the Hill stands as our go-to sanctuary for one of the most beloved Filipino dishes, Lumpiang Sariwa. With each visit, it continually proves its mettle as one of the finest purveyors of this culinary treasure. For us, it's the vegetarian variant of Lumpiang Sariwa that steals the show. Vibrant and brimming with a bountiful assortment of crisp, colorful vegetables, it's a sensory delight. We make a special request for an extra dose of garlic, enhancing the already rich flavors. Our taste buds dance with delight, savoring every bite. The only wish we harbor is for a smoother lumpia wrapper with a more pronounced eggy taste. But the culinary adventure doesn't stop there. The Spicy Eggplant is a commendable dish, tickling the palate with its satisfyingly spicy notes. Sharks Fin Dumplings delight with their savory fillings. Yet, amidst this symphony of flavors, the Tofu Teriyaki fell short of expectations, lacking the robust taste we anticipated. Moving to the Malagkit Rice, it left us yearning for more. The anticipated burst of latik flavor, along with the caramelized coconut cream, was regrettably subtle. Despite this minor setback, the texture was on point, proving that it's not merely taste but also the tactile sensations that make a dish memorable.

The lumpia and gulaman are the same as before (they're very good). There's a lot more space now and we went there on a quiet afternoon so a great experience overall

June 2025 Little grocery and resto serving Filipino Chinese cuisine that is more homely food style. Though the menu has undergone a bit of shrinkflation the same consistency is still evident. The grocery is also worth mentioning as a place to get familiar ingredients and staples Service staff are plenty and will often be approachable. Mainly Visaya speaking The place is arguably the largest outlet as they have other branches with the original one in Little Baguio in Greenhills. Better parking here but also very busy area due to Gilmore
